Aaliyah Thanisha Philipp, a Berlin native, is a powerhouse of talent and creativity. Her journey began early with a passion for dance, including ballet and flamenco. Aaliyah's dedication shone through as she excelled in various dance forms and trained internationally. During her school years, Aaliyah ventured into freelancing as a dancer, performer, and model. Her artistic pursuits extended to subcultural dances, establishing her as one of Berlin's young hip-hop sensations. At 16, Aaliyah embraced voguing and joined the "House of Mulan" in the Kiki scene. She now competes internationally as part of the "Kiki House of Laveaux." Aaliyah's art is deeply influenced by her Jamaican roots, which converge with her love for dance. In 2021, she became a dancehall DJ, and she's a proud member of "Pregy Gang," an all-female DJ collective that's breaking barriers by blending music and dance. In 2022, they made history on Berlin's "Hör" platform, showcasing authentic dancehall and soca music. Aaliyah Thanisha Philipp is a dynamic artist, bridging cultures and pushing creative boundaries in Berlin's vibrant dance and music scenes.
