Torkan Omari is a versatile artist and actress. Born in Afghanistan and raised in the Netherlands, she has lived in Colombia and now splits her time between California and Europe. Initially a law student, Torkan transitioned to poetry and writing before finding her passion in acting. She is currently part of UC San Diego’s 2026 MFA Acting cohort, where she received a full scholarship as one of nine select actors. Torkan's work focuses on Afghan-Arab futurism and surrealism. Outside of acting and writing, she trains in martial arts and weaponry, drawing inspiration from icons like Xena and Lucy Liu. Torkan aims to pursue roles in adventure, science fiction, and action genres.
